Dear Participant and Sponsor:

On June 12th, 2011 you will do more than run/walk in a race. You are helping teens and their families in our community that are fighting addiction and working on recovery. Thanks to you "Damien’s Run” is a great success. Participants again verbalized positive comments about the commitment and generosity of our sponsors. Support like yours made it possible to begin to make a difference in the lives of teens that suffer from substance abuse.

Since June 27th 1999 we’ve raised in excess of $155,000 (includes matching funds) to help teens. Funds are distributed through Damien’s Recovery scholarship program and provided to assist programs that will inspire community support for teens.  To see your contributions at work please contact Ralph Massella at Damien’s Recovery (410-340-0400).

The problem of addiction continues long after the last runner/walker has crossed the finish line. Damien’s Run, an annual event is continuing to pursue this issue providing information and building community cohesiveness. We trust we can count on you for your continued support.
